John Dean's scratch built Hastings units representing those that would have passed regularly through Orpington and Knockholt very close to Pratts Bottom. The last service train with this stock was on Sunday 11th May 1986 when 22.45 from Charing Cross ended 120 years of special stock for the London to Hastings via Tunbridge Wells route.
